Table Graces

This grace served me well for my first 20 years. It still gets the job done.

God is great, God is good,
And we thank him for this food.

And more—

Lord, some people have food and no friends.
Some people have friends and no food.
We thank you that on this night we have both.

Give us grateful hearts, our Father,
For all your mercies,
And make us mindful of the needs of others.

May the peace and blessing of God
Descend upon us as we receive his bounty,
And may our hearts be filled with love for one another.

This One is a Lot of Fun

Thank you for the world so sweet (arms in circle around face); thank you for the food we eat (hand raises spoon to mouth); thank you for the birds that sing (hands as bird's wings); thank you, God, for everything (hands folded in prayer).
